Welcome to Chalet Dauphinelle, a charming retreat nestled in the picturesque mountains. With 4 bedrooms and comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 7 guests, this cozy chalet offers the perfect getaway for families and friends.


Immerse yourself in the warm ambiance of the chalet’s homely atmosphere, enhanced by a crackling fireplace that invites relaxation and unwinding. From the two large balconies that span the entire width of the chalet, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and mountains, creating a truly unforgettable experience.


Access to the chalet is easy, but please note that there is a short staircase leading from the unpaved road through the garden to the house. For your convenience, there is a private parking space at the bottom of the stairs. Please note that this parking area is not cleared of snow by the municipality during the winter months. Instead, you can park along the beech hedge on the main road. From here, it is a short 3–4-minute walk to the chalet. This can be challenging with luggage, but it is manageable.


We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking and bringing pets to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.

  • Smooth Check-in and Key Transfer

    At Chalet Dauphinelle, we prioritize your comfort and convenience from the moment you arrive. Our dedicated manager will warmly welcome you and assist you with the check-in process and key transfer.


    To ensure a smooth and efficient experience, it's essential to contact our manager at least one day before your arrival. By making an appointment for the key transfer in advance, you can avoid any unnecessary delays and start enjoying your stay without any worries. Rest assured, our manager will provide you with the necessary contact details to facilitate this process.


    A few days before your arrival, we will share the contact details of our manager, enabling you to reach out and make the necessary arrangements. We understand the importance of a seamless check-in experience, and our manager will be ready to assist you every step of the way.

  • Flexible Cancellation Policy

    At Chalet Dauphinelle, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly, which is why we offer a flexible cancellation policy that prioritizes your peace of mind.


    If you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so up to 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival and receive a full refund. We believe in providing our guests with ample time to adjust their plans without any financial burden.


    For bookings made between 30 and 14 days before arrival, we still want to ensure your satisfaction. If you cancel within 48 hours of making the reservation, you will be eligible for a full refund.


    If you decide to cancel your stay between 14 days and 7 days before your arrival, we offer a 50% refund to compensate for any inconvenience caused.


    Please note that no refunds are possible for cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date. We recommend considering travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect your plans.

  • Convenient Information and House Rules

    At Chalet Dauphinelle, we believe that a pleasant stay begins with being well-informed. That’s why a folder with all the essential information and house rules you need to make the most of your stay is provided in the chalet. The latest version can be accessed digitally via QR codes in the chalet.


    The comprehensive folder covers a range of topics, including check-in and check-out procedures, amenities, safety guidelines, and tips for exploring the surrounding area. By familiarizing yourself with this information, you can enjoy your stay with peace of mind.


    We understand that communication is crucial. If there are any uncertainties during your stay, the local manager is always available to assist with any questions.

AREA

The chalet is located in the middle of the most beautiful part of Switzerland. The house overlooks the small picturesque Château-d'Oex, which you can walk to in ten minutes.


The village and its surroundings are truly authentic Switzerland. Other French speaking places like

Rougemont and Rossiniere are a stone's throw away.


The French-German language border is less than a 10-minute drive away, passing it will take you to places like Saanen and Gstaad. These are traditionally

the favorite holiday resorts of many celebrities.

GROUND FLOOR

Immediately after entering the chalet through the front door you enter the spacious hallway with access to the first bathroom with a bath and toilet.


Also on this floor is a large living/dining room with fireplace,

dining area and sitting area with satellite TV.


The open kitchen is equipped with all basic amenities such as a 3-burner stove, convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with (small) freezer, a Nespresso and a filter coffee machine .


The lower south-facing balcony can be reached through the balcony doors. This is located over the entire width of the chalet and gives access to the spacious terrace on the south-west.


TOP FLOOR

You reach the top floor via the stairs in the hallway. On this floor there are three double rooms with two single beds and the second bathroom with shower and toilet.


The spacious upper balcony can be reached via the two large bedrooms. This balcony is also located over the entire width of the chalet.


In addition to the three double rooms, there is

another small room with a

Single bed and a cot. With an extra single trundle bed, there is the possibility to convert this room into a double room.
